The Climate Alliance is an alliance of European cities and municipalities, that have entered into a Partnership with the Indigenous Peoples of the Amazon region. In this cooperative undertaking, the Climate Alliance's most important partner is COICA, the Coordinator of Indigenous Organisations of the Amazon Basin.

On Sunday, 20 November 2011, the Yasunizate Campaign was launched in Ecuador and worldwide to mobilize support to the Yasuni ITT Trust Fund. It is a campaign led by Ecuador’s 24 provinces and Yasuni friends world-wide.
