Ecuador court upholds 18-billion dollar fine against Chevron

On the 3rd January, a three-judge panel of the Provincial Court of Justice of Sucumbios in Lago Agrio, Ecuador, upheld an 18 billion dollar fine against Chevron for polluting the Amazon Jungle in the 1980s.
